THE ASSIGNMENT Students will work in groups to 1) Investigate the inner workings of a car engine and factors that contribute to a car’s performance, making sure to create a screencast representing their findings. THE RUBRIC
SCREENCAST (12 POINTS) A detailed description of the car engine is given, including visuals and explanations. Key features of the engine are highlighted, including power and efficiency. PROPOSAL (12 POINTS) The information presented is organized and includes a thesis statement, three evidences and details to support them, as well as a rebuttal. CHEMICAL REACTION CAR (10 POINTS) Design of car demonstrates an understanding of chemical reactions and reaction rates. PRESENTATION OF FINDINGS (12 POINTS) Presentation clearly displays car's performance in graphical form, explains results, and presents ideas for improvement |
